Worlds collide

It used to be that I would spend hours designing and then rendering to bring concepts to life. I still remember the hours spent in studios or the office modelling projects, going through countless iterations to optimize them, and then going thru the paces of rendering, and working on the final image to present them in the best light.

Masters of Architecture Thesis Design

Fast forward to the year 2013 and I have now embarked on a journey of architectural photography full time, combining both worlds of architecture and photography together. Taking full days out photographing a building inside out, looking at weather and time to optimize the best shooting time. Response has been good so far, and I have been very encouraged by responses by clients. I can't wait to see what the rest of the year has in store. Many more places to visit, many more exciting architecture to photograph.

Crossing Fingers

Being back in Malaysia and going freelance has opened up more time for me to join competitions. I've found time to join the NGC & Capitaland Photo Competition and The Photo Society competitions. Still have not won any but its early game. All fingers and toes crossed.

Will update with the submissions when the competition entries closes.

A New Start

It has been a roller-coaster ride these past few months. After 10 years in Melbourne, Australia, I plucked up the courage to take a massive leap of faith to go from architecture into photography full time.

Follow me as I embark on this journey back home in Malaysia and neighbouring Singapore. Where it goes, I don't know yet, but adventures await.
